Casimir Pulaski

Wouldn't it be neat if Casimir Pulaski was the right answer, and CurtOne didn't get it.

JR scores!

It's a trick question.

The Orioles hold the record for consecutive losses to start a season, with 21 in '88.

JR is wrong.

Dave, read the question:

"the record for consecutive games lost at the start of a season during the April 1st to April 20th time span in 1997"

Now what other team lost more games at the start of a season during the April 1st to April 20th time span in 1997 than the Chicago Cubs?

Either that or the AL isn't a major league.

Either way, the Cubs are the record holder.

I assumed the whole "during the..." phrase was just stating the timeframe in which they lost those games...

Looked to me as if it was part of the question.

Of course the entire question was about as tough as, what NL franchise plays as the home team in Wrigley Field...

I'm now convinced. DaveP is just another one of CurtOne's alter-egos. They're the same person.

I am not!

This is one of those "factual" items that Scoop requested I pose as a question.

I put factual in quotes because based on Dave's post about the Oriole's, this could be another fubar on the part of the publisher.

Is the Cubs' record for the NL and they just didn't put that as part of the statement?

Seems to me that's the case. Cubs hold the NL record, O's hold the overall record.

Am I the only one that has ever seen Curt and me in the same room at the same time?

But I have a better disguise than Superman. When Superman changed into Kent, all he had to do is put on glasses. When I change into CurtOne, I have to put on 50 pounds and ten years.

You also have to find a way to get un-ugly.

Didn't think about that.

Could Curt/Dave look like some of these guys?
